Larkshall (Mendip Bunkhouse) Bookings

Larkshall (Mendip Bunkhouse) availability is given in the table below.

Weekend dates are Fri/Sat unless otherwise stated.  Bookings are normally for complete weekends starting on Friday night.  Preference is given to complete weekends but single night bookings may be available nearer the date.  Bookings are valid for a 24hr period commencing at 6.00pm.  Mid-week bookings are very welcome.

Rates:     £10 per person per night

Notes:     There is a minimum charge of 2 nights at weekends including Bank Holidays and a 50% surcharge for single nights mid-week for groups of three or less.  A discount is available to members of BCA or BMC.

There are normally 30 guest spaces in rooms of varying size, however the property is undergoing major refurbishment at the moment and the number of spaces and rooms available are subject to change. Please confirm your requirements with the Bookings Officer. Camping is possible as required in addition to the available bunk spaces. Bookings marked (P) are provisional.  If you are interested in a provisionally booked weekend please feel free to check if it has been confirmed.

'Sole Use' booking of the property is not possible. You may book complete rooms if you wish but note that this will only provide exclusive use of the room and not the property. Larkshall is available for use by members and their personal guests at all times.

A deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance of the fees is normally payable when invoiced, but must be paid in full prior to the visit unless alternative arrangements have been made. Payments can be made by bank transfer. Payments can also be made via PayPal using a debit or credit card but a transaction fee will be added to cover charges. Cash is accepted by arrangement.

Access to Larkshall is controlled by an electonic door access system and a code and instructions will be issued prior to the visit.

Please note that  fees are under constant review and subject to change, and any fees not paid in advance may be subject to increase.

If you need to cancel a booking this must be done giving a minimum of 6 weeks notice otherwise all booked spaces must be paid for.

Some groups may be required to pay a key/cleaning/damage retainer which is returnable if there are no problems.

(P) signifies booking is provisional subject to confirmation upon receipt of deposit.

Members do not need to book, but are advised to check if space is available if bringing guests.
